30 hectares of vineyards located in four distinct locations, but all within the DOC Cortona: A “terroir” renowned for centuries for its vocation to quality viticulture due to the unique combination of high altitude, galley soils, great brightness and a fantastic microclimate, warm, dry and wide temperature range.

Resulting in a very fresh and drinkable blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah (25% of each). The grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel vast to preserve all the fruity notes and the drinkability; their union gives different characteristics to the final wine, making O’lillo a wine perfect to drink in every occasion and circumstance.

Intense purple and red color. The nose is intense and persistent with fruity hints of cherry, strawberry, forest fruits, pepper and hydrangea. The varietal aromas of the individual vines blend well even if the spicy scents coming from the Syrah emerge decisively. The palate is in perfect line with the sense of smell, pleasantly fruity finish.

"An oaky raspberry nose to start. Tart cranberry and black cherry on the palate, followed by fresh tobacco, raw cacao, boysenberry and black currant. It has an earthy yet berry-filled finish. Excellent on it's own, and could pair well with an extravagant dinner."-  94 Insider Points
