And is 47% off retail for you today? Happy Tuesday, folks! The sun is shining here in Napa and the Chard is ready for ya!

Cuvaison has rooted themselves as a pioneer of modern winemaking in the Napa Valley since 1969. In the late 70s, they pivoted their focus to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, realizing Los Carneros’ keen potential in producing outstanding bottlings of the varieties. With 50 years of experience, they certainly know what they’re doing!

Let’s talk about this lovely Estate Chard, yes? 2017 was a warmer year, and the result is lovely opulence kissed with perky acidity. Notes of pears, apples, peach and honey with jasmine, lemon blossom, mint, and clove with fresh squeezed lemons and a hint of warm spice. It’s super fresh with a pleasing balance of oak (25% new French oak aging), making it quaffable, sip all day Chardonnay if we ever met one!

So? What are you waiting for! $16 NAPA Estate Chardonnay! $96 a 6-pack with ground shipping included! You’ll thank us later when you’re relaxing with this on the patio and its 74˚ out.

THE STORY TO KNOW

Cuvaison has been profoundly influenced by our owners, the Schmidheiny family of Switzerland—fourth-generation vintners who purchased our winery in 1979. After acquiring Cuvaison, the Schmidheiny family immediately cemented our focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir by acquiring 400 acres of highly prized land in the Los Carneros region of Napa Valley. In 1991, they began an ambitious program of replanting, while adopting an intimate block-by-block approach to farming to achieve the highest expression of our vineyard and the grape varieties we work with.

Since 2002, gifted winemaker Steve Rogstad has overseen the winemaking at Cuvaison. In addition to being recognized for making many of the finest wines in our storied history, Steve oversaw the construction of our modern smart-shed winery, designed to facilitate the small-lot approach that defines our acclaimed estate-grown wines.
