Máximo Abete started making high quality wines in the 1990's and today, his daughters, continue with the same philosophy but refreshed for their generation. Navarra, is one of the oldest in Spain "We are a Navarra revolution! Our commitment is to focus on our local varieties, especially Garnacha. Our Passion is the vineyard, working as natural as possible, with the minimum intervention. So, we make artisan wines. For us is the best was to show our soils, land and location; this is, our terroir."

For this wine, the story goes that Maximo bought a property in the village of Vallervitos surrounded by forest and scrubland. Many people told him that he was crazy, that the steep slopes were too difficult to access and they would not be profitable for growing vines. But he had it very clear because he knew, that not only numbers fill the bottles. He knew that great wines begin to be worked in special places. And so he did. A blend of Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, at an altitude of 700 meters.

Light red colour. Intense and finesse on the nose. Full of floral aromas mix with balsamic and minty hints (typical of Guerinda Hills vegetation). Ripe fruit (plums, cherries or fig jam) and subtle oak. Balanced and smooth on the palate, with velvet tannins and a tasty; and lingering finish coming through coffee and spicy aromas.

Grapes picked by hand, fermented in concrete vats separately, with indigenous yeast. Aged 11 months in barrels. French oak for Garnacha and
Merlot, American for C.Sauvignon. No oenological products added. Only natural fining with egg white and soft filtering before bottling.
