We’re not kidding with this BONKERS deal on this swoon-worthy, easy drinking, knock your socks off aromatic cool-climate Syrah offered today at 65% off.

Yes, we said 65% OFF. $14 a bottle. We wish we were kidding (well not really, because we love you guys and you deserve it).

Let’s get down to business, shall we?! Jespersen Ranch in the Edna Valley, located about 30 miles south of Paso Robles and 4 miles from the Pacific is a stunning vineyard on the northern hills of the valley frequently fog-laden and whipped by salty ocean afternoon breezes. While predominately planted to Pinot and Chardonnay, the folks at Topanga Vineyard scored a small allotment of their Syrah plantings which is simply divine. Some of the loveliest cool-climate, fruit forward Syrah we’ve enjoyed as of late!

The wine comes off impeccably fresh with zesty notes of sweet black plum, black cherry, bramble and hints of bay laurel, menthol, violets and lilac with just a kiss of warm spice. Super soft, integrated tannin and lively acidity that’s rich with flavors of blackberry, cherry, spice, woodsmoke and forest floor. It’s easy drinking and is just calling for all those killer BBQs we’re dreaming of in the hopefully not so distant future.

You gotta have it. At $14/bottle?! 65% off retail?? This is for everyone. Get it while it lasts! And don’t forget, shipping included on orders of 6 bottles or more ($84/6-pack)!

TASTING NOTES

Notes of juicy black plum, black cherry and black currants with subtle hints of menthol, cola and bay laurel, violets and lilac. Hints of vanilla paste and cinnamon. Palate is easy drinking with notes of blackberry, cherry, subtle spice and woodsmoke with hints of forest floor.

THE STORY TO KNOW

When husband and wife team Sandy Garber and Ralph Meyer settled in Southern California's Topanga Canyon, their sights were not set on the vineyard way of life. As they looked around the rolling hills of their quiet surroundings, better known as a Hollywood hideaway than an agricultural hotbed, they began to see their home as Los Angeles County's answer to the Southern Rhône Valley.  So began the planting, first 90 vines on their canyon property and then expanding into a grower's co-op with friends and neighbors. However, these grapes were reserved for home winemaking and entertaining, while Garber and Meyer extended their enterprise into the Central Coast. Their fast-growing commercial venture, under the TV label, combines the couple's experience in home winemaking with fine fruit sourced from Edna Valley, Clarksburg and the Napa Valley to produce distinctly Californian styles of Rhône-inspired wines.
