92 Points, Wine Enthusiast: This wine’s raisin and ripe blackberry aromas include whiffs of cinnamon and nutmeg. The solid, balanced palate pops with acidity and noticeable oak. Vanilla, cinnamon, cassis, tobacco and citrus peel flavors carry into the finish with momentum. Drink through 2026.

Spain and France come together in this delicious Rioja red made from 100% Tempranillo by one of the wine world’s most respected winemakers—French native Claude Gros.

The 2014 Oinoz was sourced from 25- to-80-year-old vines that produce extremely limited yields of fruit each vintage and from vineyards located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, at the far northern end of the Rioja appellation. And if drinking closer to now than 2026, our Tasting Panel recommends a leg of lamb accompaniment or traditional Spanish paella.
